Year 1

Practical skills, mechanics, waves, materials, electricity, quantum physics, practical activities
Year 2
Electromagenetism, fields, thermal physics, further mechanics, nuclear physics, astrophysics, particle physics, medical physics, practical activities

Assessment Format

Papers will include multiple choice questions to ensure the majority of the content is examined
3 written exams - 6hrs in total (100% of qualification)
Practical endorsement (Pass/Fail)

40% of the question paper assessment covers mathematical skills / equations

Exam papers will include 15% assessment covering knowledge and understanding of practical work
